About us

Gotham Children provides BCBA-led ABA services for children with autism, ADHD,  and related developmental differences. We focus on delivering consistent, individualized care through a small, collaborative team that values clear communication and strong relationships. By combining clinical expertise with a thoughtful, family-centered approach, we support meaningful progress for children while helping families feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.

A more intentional approach to ABA

Caring for a child with autism, ADHD, or developmental differences often comes with uncertainty. Families may be navigating a recent diagnosis, coordinating multiple therapies, or searching for a provider they can truly rely on. Many have worked with other agencies and experienced frequent staff changes, limited communication, or programs that did not fully align with their child’s needs.

We understand how challenging this can be. Gotham Children was created to offer a more reliable and intentional experience. Our clinicians work closely with families to provide high-quality ABA care that is consistent, transparent, and tailored to each child. Our goal is to make the process feel clearer and more manageable while supporting long-term growth for both children and families.

Who we are and how we work

Gotham Children was founded nearly a decade ago by clinicians who trained together at Columbia University and shared a commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based care. Through their academic and clinical work, they recognized a need for ABA services that prioritized consistency, close clinical involvement, and meaningful collaboration with families.

They built Gotham Children as a small, clinician-led agency designed to maintain high standards while remaining personal and accessible. From the beginning, the focus has been on careful program design, strong supervision, and long-term relationships rather than high caseloads or volume-driven models.

Today, Gotham Children is a boutique ABA agency serving families throughout New York City, Westchester, Long Island, New Jersey, and Connecticut. We work with children with autism, developmental delays, and related needs, as well as neurotypical children who benefit from behavioral support. Our services include home-based ABA, early intervention, school-based services, parent training, toilet training, educational and functional behavior assessments, and professional development for schools and districts.

Each program is individualized and guided by ongoing assessment and data. Services are delivered by BCBA-supervised clinicians who collaborate closely with families, schools, and related providers. This approach allows us to provide consistent care, clear communication, and measurable outcomes while ensuring programs remain responsive to each child’s progress.

Our services are led by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and many members of our team have been with Gotham Children for five years or more. This continuity allows clinicians to develop a deep understanding of the children and families they serve.

We support our team by:

  • Providing ongoing training and supervision

  • Supporting professional development and career growth

  • Maintaining a team structure that promotes consistency and prevents burnout

This stability benefits both families and clinicians and helps support meaningful, long-term progress.

We are proud to grow alongside the families we serve, our team members, and the evolving field of ABA.
